OBJ to GLB converter (local)
Convert OBJ to a glTF 2.0 binary GLB in your browser. OBJ text is streamed in 4 MiB slices, polygons are fan-triangulated, and the GLB is assembled locally.

OBJ text streams in 4 MiB slices. Quads and polygons are fan-triangulated; groups merge into one mesh.

How it works
- 1
Drop an OBJ file.
- 2
The Worker streams v and f records and resolves positive or negative indices.
- 3
Polygons are triangulated and the GLB writer emits one mesh in a JSON and BIN container.
- 4
Download the GLB locally. No upload is performed.
What the numbers mean
Source coordinates are written without rescaling. glTF conventionally uses metres, so confirm the intended scale in your target viewer.
The GLB contains positions and triangle indices only. OBJ groups, materials, texture coordinates, and normals are not carried over.
Printing notes
- GLB is a good web interchange format; verify unit scale before sending it to a slicer.
- All OBJ groups are merged into one mesh and scene node.
- Keep the original OBJ until the GLB is verified.
