GLB to 3MF converter (local)

Convert GLB to a 3MF manufacturing package locally. The Worker parses the source, triangulates if needed, and writes a core-spec 3MF ZIP with one model object and one build item.

Drop a GLB here

The glTF 2.0 binary container is read in the Worker; nodes, transforms, and triangle primitives are merged locally.

Max file size: 500 MB · No upload

No upload · File.slice() → Worker → chunked 3MF output.

How it works

  1. 1

    Drop a GLB file.

  2. 2

The Worker parses the source and produces a single indexed triangle mesh.

  3. 3

A stored 3MF ZIP is assembled with the core model XML, content types, and relationships.

  4. 4

Download the 3MF locally. No upload is performed.

What the numbers mean

Units

GLB coordinates are conventionally metres, but they are written unchanged as millimetre-valued 3MF coordinates. The converter does not rescale; check the resulting size in your slicer.

Attributes

No GLB materials, textures, colors, normals, skins, or morph targets are written. The 3MF contains one object and one build item.

Printing notes

  • 3MF is unit-aware; this writer declares millimetres explicitly.
  • The package contains one object and one build item; split geometry first if you need separate objects.
  • Keep the original source until the 3MF is verified.
